Todd grew up in the mountains of Tennessee. Had lots of friends and even more fun. He was mechanically gifted and always interested in learning. He was employed at Johnson City Medical Center holding different positions for several years. Eventually deciding to move to Texas, where he was a mechanic building all types of motors. Something he loved. He became interested in working with handicapped citizens, running several group homes as a house manager where he worked with handicapped citizens on every level. Also giving respite care. Todd was employed at Equity as an engineer for several years then at St. David as an engineer until his home going.
He was preceded in death by his mother Gertrude Shank; grandmother, Fleta Allison; brother, George Shank and nephew, William Brett Shank.
He leaves to cherish his memory a brother, Juan Shank; sister, Sharon Shank; niece, Jamie Hampton; nephew, Timothy Ron Taylor; step-daughters, Shanisha Medina and Mary Lichtenstein; special friend, Twyla Miller; and several special friends. Thank you all for loving my brother.
