

Mr. Trinidad Loera Jr., 67, of Del Valle, Texas passed away early Tuesday morning, October 13, 2009 surrounded by immediate family. "Jr." as he was known to friends and family was born September 23, 1942 to Trinidad Loera Sr. and Anita Barron in Austin, Texas. He was the oldest of 9 children and was raised in South Austin. He met his soulmate, Sara Villanueva in 1963. They married on Valentine's Day of 1964 and from this union they had 3 daughters. Trinidad is preceded in death by his parents Trinidad Loera Sr, Anita Barron, Felipe Herrera, in-laws Albert Villanueva Sr. and Consolacion "Sally" Villanueva, daughter Yvette Loera, and sister Ermelinda. Trinidad is survived by his wife and soulmate of 45 years, Sara V. Loera of Del Valle. Daughters Yvonne Loera of Del Valle, Angela and husband, Mark Gruell of Austin, brothers Louis and wife Isabella of Sacramento, California, Julian and wife Beth of Dallas, Felipe and Tom of Austin. Also sisters Mercedes and husband Cruz Delgado of Buda, Beatrice and Sylvia Loera of Austin, and grandchildren, who were the light in his life, Joshua and Jasmine Gruell and a large extended family. He enjoyed coaching and teaching girls' softball in both Little League and select ball. He loved watching Rangers and Astros baseball, and Texas football. Best of all he loved watching his grandson's baseball and football games. He retired in April 2006 after 40 years from Denham Overhead Door Company, Inc. A Rosary will be held on Thursday, October 15, 2009 at 7:30 pm at Weed-Corley-Fish South, 2620 South Congress, Austin, Texas 78704. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 am on Friday, October 16, 2009 at Haynie Chapel United Methodist Church, 16415 Greenwood Dr. officiated by Rev. Charles Camp. Pallbearers will be Mark Gruell, Cruz Loera Delgado, Ernest Vasquez, Pete Loera, Ernest Villanueva, and Eddy Loera. Burial will follow at Haynie Chapel Cemetery.
