She was a vibrant Turkish American woman who left a lasting impression on all who knew her. She was a proud Air Force spouse and let everybody know about it.
She was the life of every party and the clown in every class. She loved singing and dancing. She had a vivid personality and a sharp wit. A fierce competitor, she loved game shows and playing trivia games.
Throughout her life, she volunteered for various organizations. The Lady Bird Johnson Wildflower Center was a great joy to her in her later years. As a military wife, she often served as a Red Cross Volunteer.
She was preceded in death by her husband, SMSgt Donald P. Haynes, and is survived by her daughter, Eda Haynes Matthews, her granddaughter, Sibel Demiralp, her grandson, Alan Haynes and his wife, Julia Haynes, along with her great grandchildren, Timothy Haynes, Melody Haynes, and Shiloh Haynes. She will be missed dearly.
A private Memorial Service will be held November 14,2024.
