He was born on the day of Love to parents, Encarnacion and Josephine Julia Rios in Rio Hondo, Texas. He was blessed with a warm heart. He wished to spread the love by assisting others in need. The Lord blessed him with a marriage that lasted forty three years to Connie Rios of Del Valle.
His absence from our presence is unmistakable. His absence brings together those who love him.
Valentin is survived by his wife, Connie Rios; five wonderful children, San Juanita, Valentin Jr., Jeremiah, Candice and Crystal Rios; sister, Juanita Rios of Harlingen and her children, Norma Padilla, Victor Rios and Claudia Rios of Harlingen, Texas; brother, Ventura Rios and children, Ventura Rios, Jr. Patty, Rene Rios, Tony Rios of San Marcos; nephews, Joe Molina, Robert Molina and Rodney Sandoval, niece Julie Molina of San Marcos, Texas; brother, Marcelo Rios of Illinois, sister Enedina Rios of San Marcos and grand nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held from 8:00 am – 10:30 am on Wednesday, August 28, 2013 at Weed-Corley-Fish Funeral Home. Graveside Services will be 11:00 am at Austin Memorial Park Cemetery.
