Vanessa Clark Hill "Vern"

Vanessa “Vern” Clark Hill, age 48, of Austin was called to her eternal home by our Savior on Friday, February 19, 2010. She is preceded by her husband Bobby Hill, her father Freddie Clark Sr., and by her two brothers Harvey Clark and Freddie Clark Jr. She leaves special memories to be cherished by her fiancé Vernon Franklin, her mother Wanda Clark, her two sisters, Faye Terry (husband Leroy), Gloria Harper, and her three children, Erica Clark Hurd, (husband Robert), Ashley Hill, and Russell Clark. Also surviving her are three grandchildren, DasJani “Lulu” Clark, Janiyah Baker, Eric Matthews, two nieces Venikka “Nikki” Thompson, (husband Tyrone) Wanda “Fay-Fay” McCullough, and one great niece Tyra Thompson. And a host of many relatives and friends. Visitation will be held on Thursday, February 25, 2010, from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Cook-Walden Funeral Home at 6100 North Lamar, Austin, Texas. There will also be a visitation from 10:00a.m. to 11:00, with Funeral Services following at 11:00 on Friday, February 26, 2010, at Mt. Zion Baptist Church, 2938 E. 13th Street Austin, Texas.
