Velma H. Schnieder Velma H. Schnieder, age 90, a resident of Austin, for over 50 years, passed away on Thursday, February 15, 2007. She retired after 45 years of service as a telephone operator. Velma was preceded in death by her husband, Gus Schnieder. She is survived by her brother, Elton Hale; niece, Nancy Holder and husband Earl and family; caretaker, Consuelo Sandoval and family; and by many close friends. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, February 17, 2007 at Wilke-Clay-Fish Chapel.
