Vernon Brinkman, age 66, of Austin, after a courageous battle with cancer, died peacefully at his home on Monday, July 10, 2006. He retired from Southside Wrecker Service in Austin. He was preceded in death by his parents, Fred and Edna Brinkman of Deanville, Texas. He is survived by his wife, Jill Setliff-Brinkman; daughters, Dawn, Dara and Bree; brothers, LW, Junell, Lancier; and sister, Marcie Parker.
