Virginia Mudge Alexander Virginia Mudge Alexander died on February 9, 2004, in Houston, Texas. She was a native of Wilmington, Delaware, and had been a resident of Houston since 1971. Virginia was a resident of Austin from 1949 until 1971, during which time she founded the Crown Shop. She was the daughter of the late Claire R. Mudge and Mabel Kimball Mudge and was predeceased by her daughter Claire Alexander Cullinan. Virginia is survived by her son-in-law, Michael P. Cullinan; daughter, Lynn A. Hardcastle; son, Brooke M. Alexander; five grandchildren; Carran Cullinan Castle, Gregory Mudge Cullinan, James Woodrow Hardcastle II, Christy Hardcastle Landry and David Alexander Paddack. Her five great-grandchildren are Trevor Huston Castle, Hayden Mills Castle, Fielding Cullinan Castle, Alexandra Hardcastle Landry, and Brandon Hardcastle Landry. Burial will be in the Austin Memorial Park Cemetery, with arrangements by Weed-Corley-Fish Funeral Home, Austin, Texas.
