Vivian Marie Greenhalgh Lubenow, 82, peacefully entered the arms of her savior and Lord Jesus Christ on January 12, 2025, surrounded by her family. The love of her life and husband, Larry Lubenow, preceded her in death. She is survived by her three children, John Lubenow, his wife, Gloria, Julie Dunlap, and her husband, Jim and James Lubenow.
Vivian enjoyed six grandchildren: Mara Tyrone and her husband Ryan, Maggie Demel, Mason Demel, Morgan Lubenow, Kathryn Lubenow, Braxton Lubenow, and one great-grandchild, Brendan Tyrone.
Vivian was born September 6, 1942, in Cornwall, New York. She married Larry on June 6, 1963, in Okinawa, where her parents and Larry were stationed. Vivian graduated from the University of Maryland, College Park, in 1964 with a BA in History/Government. She had many occupations, including being a mother, florist, and underwriter for Texas Mutual Insurance Corporation.
Vivian had numerous close friends, including Barbara and Joe Mazurak, whose friendship spanned over 52 years.
Her grandchildren remember her most for the way she shared her love of the arts, gardening, and crafting. Her friends and family will miss her.
