The Dogale family are devastated with the loss of their beloved son, Wani Swaka Dogale; who passed away at the age of 25 on Sunday, January 17, 2021 in Austin, Texas. The death was tragic to the family. We are faced with difficulties accepting the loss of Wani Dogale. Words seem inadequate to express the sorrow felt by our loss.

He is preceded in death by his father, a great man, Shaka Dogale, who passed in 2006.

Wani’s is survived by his mother, Flora Lado; his siblings, Wuseng Dogale, Kafuki Dogale, Lado Dogale, Petia Dogale, Gore Dogale;

We are sharing this time of grief with relatives, friends and the communities at the last day of Wani Dogale’s life. However, we also cherish the beautiful times we spent together. If you you know Wani, he always did something to make you laugh or smile. Wani had a big heart, he always cared for people and helped anyway he could. Wani had a passion in mechanical engineering, and received a degree from the University of Texas State Technical College.

His strong work ethic, loving personality, and his optimistic view of life has touched our lives in many ways.

The memories of Wani Swaka Dogale will stay with us as long; as we are in this world. He has now entered the gates of heaven; where his soul will rest in peace. From dust to dust we return. We thank God for His beautiful creation. The family would also like to thank everyone who was a part of Wani’s life and supported our family.

I love all the Dogale family. I truly believe God gifted my family (Helen, Jacqui, & myself) when He moved you next door to us. Our lives have been enriched and forever changed because of you - so much love!

When we got the news about our precious Wani our hearts broke. Knowing he is with our Father in Heaven comforts us and we pray it comforts his Mum, brothers, sister, family, & friends.

You’ll be forever in our hearts Wani ❤️💫
