

William Alfred Angel was born April 23, 1936 in Warrensburg, Missouri, to Carl and Dollie Angel. He went to be with the Lord after a courageous battle with cancer, on August 18, 2003. Bill was an avid bass fisherman, loved to hunt, and never missed a car race. He played pool like a pool shark, and will be truly missed. He was preceded in death by his father; one infant son, William A. Angel; and his first wife, Phyllis C. Angel. Survivors include his mother; wife, Elizabeth; son and wife, Steve and Renda Angel; step children, Janet Carpenter and husband Mike, John Sisson and wife Pauline, James Sisson and wife Pam; grandson, William C. Angel; seven step grandchildren, Misty Haner, Melissa Sisson, Anthony Clarkson, Scott Shelton, Kurt Sisson, Elizabeth Sisson, and Wade Sisson; and one great-granddaughter, Abigail Haner. The family will receive friends from 7:00 9:00 p.m. on Wednesday, at Wilke-Clay-Fish Funeral Home. Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, August 21, 2003, at Wilke-Clay-Fish Funeral Home, with Dr. S. Nelson Lanham as officiant. Funeral Services in Missouri will be held at 10:00 a.m., Saturday, August 23, 2003, at Church-Archer-Pasley Funeral Home. Interment will follow at New Hope Cemetery, in Liberty, Missouri.
