His son, Travis Powell, preceded him in death. William is survived by his loving wife of 55 years, Gussie Kuhn Hebel; sons, Alan Powell and wife Ann; Mark Hebel; daughter, Marie Hebel; grandchildren, Kiana and Hannah Powell and Jessica Hebel; and dearest friend, Capt. Joseph Pepper, US Navy Retired of Riverton, WY.
Visitation 5:00 pm – 7:00 pm Friday, October 12, 2018 at Weed-Corley-Fish Funeral Home, 2620 South Congress with Recitation of the Holy Rosary to begin at 7:00 pm.
Funeral Mass 10:00 am Saturday, October 13, 2018 at St. Ignatius Catholic Church, 126 W. Oltorf.
Interment will follow at Assumption Cemetery with full Military Honors.
