William Franklin Leverett, Sr. It is with a deep sadness and a joyful, humble peace that we remember William Franklin Leverett, Sr., who gently passed away from this world this past week. He was 64 years old. Bill is survived by his family, William, Clayton, Julie, and Deborah, and by countless good friends that all of us consider to be our extended close family. There was never a doubt about whether or not Wild Bill was in the room. He was life incarnate. Bills very presence enlightened every social function and brought spirit to every relationship just being around him made life a little more fun. He so enjoyed bringing others into the blessings of our lives, and as many of you know, what was Bill's was also yours. His greatest passion was just being around other good people and having a good time. He loved when Clayton and Will would bring their friends to Llano, and those annual events were the highlights of his every year. The family has been so, so happy that every day brought us closer together. All should be so blessed. Above all, we would all say that there is no more a genuine person than Bill. He did everything he knew to help our family. Heaven knows where we would be otherwise. We already miss his thunderous voice, his wild stories and jokes, and his wonderful attitude towards life... the world just isn't as interesting today without him in it. Adios Wild Bill. We'll see you when we get there. Until then, keep 'em in stitches like only you know how. A memorial service will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Wednesday, November 22, 2006 at Weed-Corley-Fish Chapel. Memorial contributions may be made to Buckner Childrens Home, 600 N. Pearl, Suite 2000, Dallas, Texas 75201 or to Cherokee Home for Children, P.O. Box 295, Cherokee, Texas 76823.
