William Harley Locklear III

William Harley Locklear III was born in Elk City, OK. He grew up in Hollis, OK where he graduated in '72 and went on to Altus Jr college WOSC. He then attended OSU in Stillwater, OK, although he was a big OU fan. He worked for the family roofing company for years when he took a job in Del Rio, TX. There he met the love of his life, Elizabeth Rivas. They married in '77 and had 3 children.

He enjoyed fishing and camping on Lake Carl Blackwell in Stillwater, as well as gardening and grilling. He loved the outdoors and spending time with his family. He and the family moved to Cedar Park, TX in '99 where he worked for the city and enjoyed football season and his newly born grandchildren. He retired in '23 and attended sports viewing events with his sons and their friends. He only got haircuts from his daughter Dani.

He is survived by his children, William Harley Locklear IV, Eric Colby Locklear and Dani Loreli Rivas-Luna; his sister Kimberly Dawn Glover; three grandchildren, Kaitlynn Jayde Locklear, Jensen Charles Locklear and Penny Elizabeth Locklear.

A memorial service for William will be held Sunday, June 22, 2025 at 4:00 PM at Cook-Walden Chapel of the Hills, 9700 Anderson Mill Road, Austin, TX 78750.
