

Edward was preceded in death by his wife of over forty years Shirley and son Marvin Schwarzer and brother Donald Pribble. He is survived by two daughters, Peggy Schwarzer and Denise Haskett (Mike), three grandchildren Nichole Runner (Kelvin), Rusty Ballard (Jamie) and Gabriel Bradt (Jennifer) along with eight great-grandchildren Gabriel Jr. and Sonya Bradt, Morgan, Aubrey and Olivia Runner, Cheyanne and Breanne Ballard and Brylee Haskett. Also surviving is one brother Frank Pribble (Chris), sister Patricia Garland (Joe),one nephew Charles (Pam) Pribble great-nephew Charles Jr. (Julie) and great-niece Chelsea Pribble.
After serving his country in the United States Marines he began his 35-year career in law enforcement at the Austin Police Department. He met the love of his life Shirley and became a husband and instant father to three children. He completed his career journey as Executive Director with the Texas Alcoholic Beverage Commission.
After retirement Edward and Shirley moved to Tow Texas on Lake Buchanan where was able to enjoy almost thirty years of fishing. He also loved gardening, cooking, spending time with family and teaching the grandchildren how to fish.
Edward is severely missed by his family and friends and will be laid to rest in Capital Gardens Cemetery in Austin, Texas.
