Yves was such a grand person to be around and there is no way you could not have been touched by his warm and caring nature. He was a person that was filled with passion and would always do what it took to make you laugh. He would always be there for you if you ever needed him to be and would always go above and beyond for you. He was a lover of comics and of collecting of toys, especially Rick and Morty, which were his favorite. Yves loved his family with all his heart and they were the one true constant in his life.
Yves worked in the Service Industry since he was in high school and did everything from wash dishes to managing. He loved his patrons as much as they loved him. They would follow him to whichever restaurant he would end up at. He was the only reason they kept coming back to that restaurant and if he left they left. The reason is he would sit down and talk to them and was sincere about wanting to know about their day and personal life be it kids, work, etc.....
He had such a sweet tooth since he was a kid and it never left him. His family would tease him that he teeth would all fall out, but he didn't mind since it made him happy and he would always share his candies with whomever was around.
The last great joy Yves had was going to Bolivia this past summer with his Austin family to visit all the extended family whom he hadn't seen in over 30 years. Bolivia was the birthplace of his parents Roberto and Lilian Loayza and it is where they grew up. It was the best two weeks of his life as he got to reconnect with all his cousins, aunts, and uncles. He would constantly speak about how important family was during and after the trip. Everyone in Bolivia loved and adored him so much as he had a certain spark that was unique only to him and his big laugh and larger than life smile could be seen and heard for miles around.
Yves was survived by his mother, Lilian Loayza Simon; brother, Jason Loayza; brother Ryan Loayza - and all extended family in South America.
A Visitation will be held on Tuesday, March 26th, 2019 from 6:00 pm-8:00 pm and the Funeral Service at 10:00 am on Wednesday, March 27th, 2019 with a graveside to follow at Cook-Walden/Forest Oaks Funeral Home in Austin, Texas.
