Donald leaves behind his parents, Donald Emond and Debra Friars. He will be sadly missed by his son, Seth Normand-Emond; his brother Douglas; and Valerie Normand, the mother of his son. Known affectionately as Donny, he enjoyed spending time with his son playing Pokemon Go, loved playing video games, and cherished moments with friends at work. Donny found joy in going to the gym for strength training with his son and relished being at home, snuggling up with the family dog, Pepper. He leaves behind many other relatives and friends.
A Memorial Service will be held on Monday, December 1st, 2025 at 1 p.m. at Racine, Robert & Gauthier Beauchamp Funeral Home, located at 47 Denise-Friend, Gatineau (Aylmer). Family will be present at 12:30 p.m. to receive your condolences. In lieu of flowers, donations to the charity of your choice would be appreciated.
