Dorothy Forgie Leclair
1935 - 2021
It is with great sadness we announce the passing of Dorothy at the age of 85 on February 3rd, 2021 after an illness.
Dorothy was an amazing woman graced with class, beauty, intelligence and love. Her strength and courage was quiet, but fierce. Her soft, calming and welcoming demeanour, and her acceptance of all, made her a second mother/grandmother to many. Her directness and honesty was given with love. When she voiced what she had to say, people would stop and listen. She was a force like no other. She always put others first, never herself. As we all gathered around our “beautiful ANGEL” and cried, her last words were “I’m ok”. She will never be forgotten and her mark on this world will always be immense. Her strength was immeasurable. The pride and love we feel knowing she was, and still is our angel, is as indescribable as she was.
Dorothy is predeceased by her cherished husband Roger Leclair, her 2 sons Wayne and David, as well as her beautiful great grandchild, Damien.
Dorothy is also survived by her beloved children Carol (Gilles), Diane (Robert), Judy (Pierre), Robert, Susan (Luc), Cindy, Donna and her daughter-in-law Lilianne. Also left to mourn are her cherished grandchildren Erika, Cody, Charlie, Tanya, Julie, Josee, Shawn, Christelle, Samatha, Daniel, Melissa, Jessica, Brandon, Britney, and Christian. Dorothy will be deeply missed by her great-grandchildren Ben, Alex, Carter, Alexah, Carley, Mylee, Kayly, Dominic, Paige, Taylor, Aura, Avia, Quinton, Sadie, Riley, Skylar, Lexy, Devon, McKayla, Tyler, Jordan, Jaydan, Jayce, Sofia, and Stella.
She is also predeceased by 8 brothers and 2 sisters. Survived by brothers Danny, Robert and her sister Jean; as well as her 2 close friends Helen & Michelle and many nieces and nephews
