Gesina (Ina) Crowley, 85, passed away June 3rd, 2019, 15h20, she was born June 5th, 1934 in Essen, Germany to Joseph Toebbens and Wilhelmine Rheinartz. Ina lived as a proud Canadian since 1961. Her devotion to her family (and Black Forest Cake) is missed by her husband of 45 years, Michael A. Crowley, daughter Stephany-Anne Crowley, son-in-law Bruce Howarth and the joy in her heart, Kyra-Serene Crowley. Beloved by her twin Sister Grietta (Toebbens) Overmann, elder Sister Christa Toebbens, and known as the “wild Tante” by Ute, Klaus, Helga and Hans.
Funeral & Celebration of Life: Friday, June 28th, 1:00 p.m., at St-Mark’s Catholic Church, (160 Rue Principale) immediately followed by luncheon celebration at the Aylmer Legion Branch #33, at 59 Bancroft St.
Ina served every community she lived in with a heart for the disadvantaged. Her voice graced church choirs and her many culinary and artistic talents were gifted to benefit veterans of the Royal Canadian Legion and local fundraisers.
