Issac Edman Ho, loving father, partner, and brother, on July 8, 2018, at the age of 33 years.
Edman was born on April 19,1985 at Oakville Trafalgar Memorial Hospital. Edman completed primary school at École élémentaire LaMarsh in Niagara Falls, Ontario. He graduated from Governor Simcoe School in St. Catharines, Ontario in 2004, and later obtained additional qualifications from the University of Fredericton. In response to the declining health of his parents, Edman assumed the responsibilities of Owner and Operator of the Regency Hotel Sports Complex, a family-operated, restaurant and bar establishment situated in Niagara Falls, Ontario. In 2008, Edman moved with his family to Timmins for a work apprenticeship. Although initially working in the mining sector, Edman flourished as a health and safety specialist in the construction industry, serving in management roles at Chartrand Equipment, Saguss Safety Consultancy and Management, and EBC Inc.
From an early age, Edman displayed talents as an entrepreneur, as well as in music (piano) and sport (karate, Tae Kwon Do, softball, and golf). In adulthood, Edman was widely regarded as a reliable pragmatist at work and home, and he readily undertook home renovation projects with impressive results.
Edman is survived by his partner, Andrea, and sons Brayden, Cameron and Maddox, and by his brother Ari (Rebecca). Predeceased by his parents Harvey and Anna Ho.
Funeral services will be held on Sunday, July 22nd, at Maison Funeraire Racine, Robert & Gauthier Beauchamp Funeral Home, 47 Rue Denise-Friend, Gatineau QC (Tel: 819-684-1155). A visitation (11 a.m. - 1 p.m.) will be followed by Funeral Services (1:30 p.m.). A celebration of life will follow at 3 p.m., at
12 Albert-Camus, Gatineau, QC.
