Surrounded by his loving family, Louis Trépanier passed away peaceful on August 2nd, 2022 after a hard fought battle with cancer. He is predeceased by his mother Veronica McHugh and his father Pierre Trépanier.
He will be truly missed by his wife of 49 years Bodil Trépanier, and his children Paul, Philip and Camilla (Leonard). Louis is also survived by his loving sister Jane (Ted); his loving brother Robert (Janet) and his two cherished grandchildren Meaghan (Cody) and Justin (Steph). He was a beloved uncle to several nieces and nephews in Denmark and the USA, and a cherished friend to so many all over the world.
Louis was well respected for his dedication and years of service at Transport Canada (1979-2007) where he worked as a Dangerous Goods inspector and instructor. He loved listening to music and travelling the world with his darling Bo. He enjoyed cycling, golf and hockey, and hanging out with the guys at the rink or on the golf course. Louis had an astute mind and enjoyed engaging others in insightful conversation. His family and friends will miss his sharp and opportunistic sense of humour.
We love you Lou Lou….
