We were sorry to see in "The Daily Press" that Mario had passed away. We have good memories of Mario & Nicole as neighbours on our street. We will always remember Mario's flowers, along with the seeds he planted every year so that he had his own petunias - pink ones if I remember correctly. The hosta that you gave us is still doing well in our front garden. Our thoughts and prayers are with you Nicole, and all of your family. May you sense God's love and presence through this time of sadness. With our deepest sympathy, Carol & Jim

I had the privilege of teaching with Mario for many years at O'Gorman. As a young teacher just starting out, Mario was a wonderful mentor to me, always positive, professional, and encouraging, always a gentleman. Teaching in the room next to his for many years, we shared many laughs together. I loved to make Mario laugh and most days I think I succeeded. I will miss you, my friend.

My thoughts and prayers are with your family at this time.
With deepest sympathies,
Peter Corbett
