Beloved wife of Leo Philippe; loving daughter of the late Howard Callahan and Winifred Roy (from Nova Scotia); cherished mother of Howard Bishop (Meredith Diep), Jaime Bishop (Andrew Frank) and Mary-Margaret Suen (Pedro Suen). Devoted grandmother to Emelia and Joshua Frank (“her babies”). Dear sister of Gayle Durocher (Peter) and Howard Callahan (Charlotte). Also survived by many loving nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
Mary was a gifted elementary school teacher who loved teaching English as a second language. Throughout her life she passionately pursued her many interests, including competitive equestrian show jumping, gardening and collecting keepsakes. She is deeply mourned by her family.
No prior visitation.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St-Mark’s Church, 160 rue Principale, Aylmer on Thursday December 22, 2022 at 11:00 am.
