It is with great sadness that we announce the peaceful passing of Patricia (Pat) Lusignan (née Holt), at age 76, (39 and holding as she would put it) on May 15th, 2020 surrounded by her loving family.
Pat was raised and lived in Aylmer Quebec, where she enjoyed being a house wife, bookkeeping and spent the last 10 years of her career working at the Supreme Court of Canada. She was a generous and caring woman, an avid bingo player and online chatters. Her inner strength and strong principles guided her through a life that will be remembered for the love and kindness she gave to others.
Patricia will be greatly missed by her beloved and devoted husband Richard (Dick) Lusignan, her loving son Richard (Rick) Lusignan, daughter in-law Michèle Janveau, 2 grandchildren Karah Picard (Maxime) and Anna Picard (Stéphane), 3 great-grandchildren, Owen, Jacob and Xavier. Dear sister Bernice (Denis) Trudel, the late Irene (George) Cochrane, the late Barbara (Fernand) Huot, the late Bobby (Sue) Holt and the late Sharon Holt. As well as many nieces, nephews, family and friends.
The family would like to thank her dedicated and thoughtful caregivers in the Cardiology department at the CISSS de l’Outaouais (Hull Hospital) and the Outaouais Heart Failure Clinic (Clinique d’ Insuffisance Cardiaque de l’Outaouais - CICO). A special thank you to Dr. Haghighat for the wonderful care he provided and who made it possible for the family to be by her side during the final moments.
Treasured memories will forever be in our thoughts and in our hearts with us all, Love you always.
We cannot express enough our gratitude for the outpouring of love and support we've received from family and friends.
In accordance with Pat’s wishes, her remains will be cremated followed by a private family interment at St-Paul’s cemetery in Aylmer, Québec. Memorial donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Canada are greatly appreciated. Condolences and Tributes can be left on this site.
