Il laisse dans le deuil sa fille Daphné, son frère Yves ainsi que ses nombreux collègues et amis
Réjean a eu une vie remplie de bonheur et de défis qui l’ont amené à avoir une grande culture et une intelligence exceptionnelle. Ayant eu une carrière dans le domaine artistique pendant plus de 30 ans en tant qu’acteur et metteur en scène, Réjean était passionné par les arts de la scène. Il a également fait carrière en enseignement pendant de nombreuses années. Il a été professeur de théâtre aux Cégep Lionel-Groulx et à l’Université d’Ottawa, puis professeur en français langue seconde à Ottawa. Enfin, il a relevé davantage de défis en poursuivant une nouvelle carrière dans le monde de la sécurité avec les Commissionnaires.
Réjean était un père formidable et attentionné.
Il voyait la vie comme étant une école, tous en on à apprendre avant leur départ vers un autre monde, une autre école. Il est difficile d’accepter son départ, mais il est rassurant de savoir qu’il était heureux et libéré de ses souffrances.
La famille désire remercier l’Institut de cardiologie de l’Université d’Ottawa, Campus civic de l’hôpital d’Ottawa. En particulier au Dr. Toeg et aux infirmiers pour leur professionnalisme et leur travail acharné.

The Guénette family regrets to announce the passing of Mr. Réjean Guénette
Born on April 26, 1951 and passed away on December 28, 2020
He is survived by his daughter Daphné, his brother Yves and his many colleagues and friends
Réjean had a life filled with happiness and challenges which led him to have a great culture and an exceptional intelligence. Having had a career in the artistic field for over 30 years as an actor and director, Réjean was passionate about the performing arts. He also had a career in teaching for many years. He was a theater professor at Cégep Lionel-Groulx and the University of Ottawa, then professor of French as a second language in Ottawa. Finally, he took on more challenges by pursuing a new career in the world of security with the Commissionaires.
Réjean was a wonderful and caring father.
He saw life as a school, everyone has something to learn before they leave for another world, another school. It is difficult to accept his departure, and it is reassuring to know that he was happy and free from his suffering.
The family would like to thank the University of Ottawa Heart Institute, Ottawa Hospital Civic Campus. Especially to Dr. Toeg and the nurses for their professionalism and hard work.
