It is with great sadness that the family announces the passing of Richard Dean Larocque. Richard passed away peacefully, surrounded by his family, at the Pontiac Community Shawville Hospital after a long battle with lung cancer; he was 66.
Richard is predeceased by his father Leger Larocque, his mother Shirley Moore, and his sister Lilian Larocque. He leaves behind his dear wife Rita Larocque (nee Gibeault), his cherished daughters: Rachel (Andre) and Nicole (Ben), as well as his grandchildren: Austin (Tia), Raymond, Darien, Rianna, Devon, Jaeden, and Allisha. Also left to mourn are his beloved sisters and brothers: Lorna (Wayne), Sylvie (Louis), Roger (Marlene), Diane, Lucille (Jean), and many nieces and nephews. Richard will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
A church service will take place July 11th, 2020 at St. Mary’s Parish in Quyon, Quebec. Due to the Coronavirus, the service is by invitation only.
