S’est éteint paisiblement le 31 décembre 2011, à l’âge de 90 ans. Il fut prédécédé par ses parents Joseph Auksztinaitis et Anna Pasternakas; sa femme Jeanne Carrière; ainsi que ses sœurs : Aline, Mary et Jeanne d’Arc; et son frère Anthony. Il sera grandement manqué par ses 4 enfants : Lynn de Quyon, Shirley (Avril Cunningham) de Luskville, Dynah (Daniel Cardinal) de Shawville et Vincent de Quyon. Il était le cher grand-père de Sandy (Yan Aubry) d’Aylmer, Aimy (James Cokrell) de Quyon et Kingsley de Luskville. Cher arrière grand-père de Daphney, Aymeric et Tyler. Il laisse également plusieurs beaux-frères, belles-sœurs, neveux et nièces.

Un service religieux sera célébré le samedi 14 janvier 2011 à 11h en l’église St-Alexandre, 1 chemin des Érables, Gatineau. La famille recevra les condoléances à compter de 10h30. Pour information : 819-770-1300 www.dignitequebec.com

Passed away peacefully on December 31, 2011, at the age of 90. Predeceased by his parents Joseph Auksztinaitis and Anna Pasternakas; his wife Jeanne Carrière; as well as his sisters : Aline, Mary and Jeanne d’Arc; and his brother Anthony. He will be missed by his 4 children : Lynn of Quyon, Shirley (Avril Cunningham) of Luskville, Dynah (Daniel Cardinal) of Shawville and Vincent of Quyon. Loving grandfather of Sandy (Yan Aubry) of Aylmer, Aimy (James Cockrell) of Quyon and Kingsley of Luskville. Cherished great grandfather of Daphney, Aymeric and Tyler. He will also be missed by many brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nephews and nieces.

A Memorial Mass will be held on Saturday, January 14, 2012 at 11 a.m. in St-Alexandre Church, 1 chemin des Érables, Gatineau. The family will receive condolences at 10h30.
