With great sadness, we announce the passing of Alex Paul Haszinger, affectionately known as "Bubba" to his beloved mother and cherished family. Alex, aged 32, a resident of West Babylon, New York, departed this world on April 1, 2024, surrounded by the warmth of his home.
In the loving embrace of his mother, Diana Haszinger, Alex leaves behind a profound legacy of love and memories. While predeceased by his father Michael Haszinger and his Brother Jesse Haszinger, He is remembered fondly by his brother Matthew Haszinger and Matthew's wife Dorothy, his sister Jennifer Lake and her husband David, nephew Miles, and his youngest brother Blake Haszinger. Alex's presence also enriched the lives of numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, and dear friends, all of whom will deeply feel his absence.
Alex was a man of quiet strength and gentle spirit, finding solace and joy in a variety of creative pursuits and hobbies. When listening to music, board games, or simply spending quality time with his brothers and sister, the presence of their or his father was always felt. Whether engaged in the artistry of building and home repairs, often at the side of his brother Matthew or Aunt Donna, or lost in the intricacies of landscape design, video gaming, or model crafting, Alex's passion for creation knew no bounds. His fascination with American history was evident in his avid consumption of documentaries and literature, reflecting his deep reverence for the tapestry of the United States.
A true weather enthusiast, Alex possessed an innate curiosity for meteorological phenomena, eagerly anticipating the arrival of each snowstorm or hurricane. His nights were often spent gazing into the cosmos through his telescope, finding solace and wonder in the vast expanse of the night sky. Whether surrounded by friends or in quiet contemplation with his loyal feline companion, Midnight, by his side, Alex found beauty and serenity in life's simple moments.
Though Alex may have departed from this world, his spirit and passion endure as a beacon of inspiration to all who had the privilege of knowing him. He will be deeply missed, but his memory will forever remain etched in the hearts of those who loved him.
