Alice joins her late husband Robert and daughter Moira. She is survived by her daughter Eileen and husband Thomas Wheeler, and sons Robert and wife Ramona, Christopher, Patrick, and her sister Marianne Friedman.
Alice treasured her seven grandchildren: Geoffrey Van Duyne and wife Colleen, Michael Waters and wife Barbara, Kerry Planty and husband Kevin, Kathleen Wisseman and husband Richard, Julie Van Duyne, Elizabeth Fraker and husband Chris, and Griffin Waters.
She also enjoyed five great grandchildren: Riley and Mason Wisseman, Leah and Norah Planty and Charlotte Van Duyne.
Alice worked as a bookkeeper at Kellogg Office Equipment in Babylon, and later at AMFESCO Industries in Plainview. After retirement her hobbies included flower and vegetable gardening.
Alice worked with the Outreach Program at St. Joseph's and tended the Memory Garden there. She enjoyed watercoloring and knitting when she was younger, and in later years participated in the Quilting Club and Book Club.
