Amelia Curcio

Amelia Curcio (nee Reggio), 95, of Lindenhurst, entered into Eternal Life on April 25, 2022. Beloved wife of the late Robert. Devoted mother of Michael Senato (Lydia) and the late Debra Gargiulo (William) and step-mother of Robert Curcio (Barbara) and Anthony Curcio (Judy). Cherished grandmother of Audra Olson, Thomas Gargiulo and William Gargiulo and step-grandmother of Jacqueline Cardarelli, Genevieve McGuinness, Carolyn Curcio, Anthony Curcio, and Jennifer DeRosa. Dear great-grandmother of Christopher Olson, Matthew Olson, Emma Olson and Evan Olson and step great-grandmother of Gianna DeRosa, Isabella DeRosa, Robert Cardarelli, Sofia Cardarelli, Nicholas Cardarelli, Grace McGuinness, Ashley McGuinness, Matteo Curcio, and Santino Curcio. Loving sister of Frances Palumbo and the late Philomena Petrellese. Retired Town of Babylon Planning Board Secretary and Clerk at OTB. Amelia loved ceramics, knitting, crocheting, playing games, and being surrounded by her loving family. She will be missed by every life she touched. Family will receive friends at Claude R. Boyd-Spencer Funeral Home, 448 W. Main Street, Babylon, Thursday, April 28, 2022, 2-4p.m. & 7-9p.m. Closing prayers at the funeral Home 11:30am Friday, April 29, 2022.
