Patty, We are so sorry for your family having to release the presence of your mom. I know how painful that is. With your heavy heart rejoice in the memories and stories of her life on earth. Celebrate knowing she is home with those who have passed before and with the mercy of God his face is shining upon her.
Our deepest sympathy to you and yours

Dear Patty and family,
I have many fond memories of your mom and will never forget her broad smile and welcoming personality. Family gatherings and picnics brought many happy remembrances to me and my children. Sorry we could not greet you all in person at this time, but our prayers are with you.
Love,
Joan DeRiso and family.

Dear Patty and Jimmy, please accept our sincere condolences. We both have such fond memories of your mom and dad. The good ol' days in so many ways. When life was simpler. May god rest your mom's soul and now lay with your dad forever in peace! The beloved couple, our Uncle Vinny and Aunt Anna, will always remind us of many great occasions we enjoyed and will cherish forever.
Love, Michael & Georgine

Aunt Anna you have left a remarkable legacy here on earth. As I read the tributes this morning you will never be forgotten. I was truly blessed for sixty years to be your great niece and my sons to be your great great nephews. Memoires of you will be engraved in our hearts forever, and there are far too many for any of us who were privileged enough to know you to condense into a paragraph, so I too am trying to find some words. My earliest memories were coming to your house on Cherokee Street and you at the top of the stairs welcoming me with open arms for a Sunday dinner, or just a visit. Or the doorbell ringing at our house and running saying Aunt Anna is here! It is hard for me to recall how many times we all ate, talked, laughed and yes sometimes cried together we are family and family spends time together. It is clear you were very busy in your 91 years spending time with so many. I am saddened all of us cannot be together to pay tribute to you together and mourn, share memories, and celebrate your life and legacy. We shared July birthdays and the I am so grateful until Covid our family would travel to New York summer and winter. On July 5th, 2018 we celebrated our birthdays together over a girl’s lunch. Patty and Jimmy I am so sorry for your loss. After a lifetime of her love and joy, God leaves these memories to help us through our tears.

A wise man once said even though u come into this world alone & some leave alone, what matters is how u live ur life..if ur fortunate enough to surround yourself with people that love, respect & admire u,then u have had a good life. Well my aunt Anna had a great life. Growing up she was Annie to me-my big sister. As I got older she became Aunt Anna. When mom passed, she became the Matriarch of the Nappi Family. For my son she was their second “grams”,for my grandkids she was aunt Anna. For me she was my mentor . On sad days she would cheer me up & make me laugh.0n nites that we’re lonely she would comfort me. I will miss her all the days of my life, but count myself so lucky to be a part of her life..oh, by the way, that wise man was my Dad,❤️

My beautiful Aunt my dads baby sister, I am so glad i came to see you each time I came to New York except for the last time but that was only due to covid and it broke my heart that I couldn't see you. I am grateful for all those visits and phone calls. Im so thankful you were able to answer the phone the last time I called. I felt you were saying goodbye. You were not just my Aunt you were my Godmother and my friend. I know you missed Uncle Vinny and my dad so much. I will now miss you so much. I will never forget your kindness and how we devoured the crumb cake I brought over. Im ok knowing your not in pain and i know you were tired and sad. I hope you are dancing with the angles and hanging with your brothers, sister and Uncle Vinny.

I will always cherish the many great dinners I enjoyed with my wonderful aunt Ann and uncle Vinnie. We shared great food, wonderful conversations and lots of fun and laughter. I always made sure to play Frank Sinatra for her.
I was about 10 years old when she and her best friend took me to see Frank Sinatra, on stage at the old Paramount theater. When ever I called her I could hear Frank Sinatra in the background.
She was my aunt but she was also my friend.
She was very much part of the greatest generation, honorable, loyal and above all family first.
She will always be remembered and always in my heart.
God Bless
With Love Addie
