Mr. Cotto was someone that I considered as a 2nd father in my life. He made me part of the family as soon as me and Christian became brothers. He set an example as a father figure, friend and support system to us all. One of my fondest memories of Mr. Cotto is when he took Christian and I to the depo where they parked the Sanitation trucks. We were about 7 years old at the time and He basically gave us a tour of where he was stationed for work and how he operated the trucks.  Driving was His thing, and it was something that he enjoyed doing. He gave us an example of what it meant to be passionate his Job, but also about life. Splish Splash was also a fun time with Mr. Cotto and the family as well. He had a lot of laughs and lots of fun there too. But Most of all I will never forget, how he was always present in my and treated me as one of his own. Even though he is not with us, I know for sure he will always be in our hearts.

Dad words can not describe the void you’re leaving in my life. I will always miss and Love you Dad. I just hope I will be able to live up to the example you left me. Thank you for the talks we used to have and most of all thank you for being the greatest Dad. I will always love you. “DSNY New York’s Strongest”

My brother Anthony has always been the hard core brother for his sister's & brother's. He always had time to hear our individual issues.

He was caring and interested in what we as children went through in our life's. He was the best brother anyone would love to have.

Jr. I will miss you so much. Now your heavenly father will take care of you. Thanks for being my brother and giving us your beautiful family.

My oldest brother was a kind and loving man. Here we are at our niece’s, Maria, wedding. It was a beautiful wedding that gave us more treasured memories. I will miss you, brother. Thank you for being the best big brother a little sister can ask for.

My godfather was always the best with his godchildren, every laugh, every happy moment immortalized him with a laugh that will always last over time, I love you and I hope to see you soon, thank you for everything and for being my laugh in dark moments! Enjoy with Manuelitos and the other family! Love you

Anthony was the best there is. Very personable, funny and considerate. Being Puerto Rican and raised in Brooklyn we have a common background where there was love and respect for family. He will be missed by many and we hope his spirit remains with us. He will not be forgotten. God bless Anthony and bring

Anthony, you were a fantastic Grandfather and Father in law. Always willing to come over and help at a moments notice. One of my biggest memories of you is when you would come over and patrol the streets looking out our window which is why this is one of my favorite pictures of you.

Dad, you are a guiding light, a source of endless love, and a pillar of strength. You welcomed me into your family with open arms and embraced me without hesitation. Your humor and kindness created an environment where I always felt valued and loved. 
Grandpa, you never missed a birthday or a chance to make an unforgettable memory, leaving a legacy of joy and laughter that I will treasure forever. 
Dad, you're an example of selfless devotion to family. I take pride in being your son and will strive to embody the legacy you’ve fostered. 
As we say our goodbyes, we take comfort in knowing that the Lord now holds you in his gentle embrace, just as you held us with such tenderness throughout our lives. We will miss you and you will forever be in our hearts.

To the entire Cotto family, our deepest condolences to you all for the loss of your Patriarch Anthony Jr. a  beloved husband,brother, father, uncle and grandfather.  He was a man from a generation that will never be duplicated. A hard working man that loved his family more than anything else.  His joy was spending time with his family, a family that made him proud. He was a lucky man to have moulded his family into the loving generous families they are. While he is gone from our sight there is no doubt in my mind that he will live on  in the stories and memories he shared with his family and friends. May he Rest In Eternal Peace 🕊️
