Raised in North Massapequa, New York, Tony graduated from Farmingdale High School in 1968. Shortly after, he married Rosemary Lewis; nearly celebrating 50 years of marriage this August. For 35 years, Tony was a foreman and superintendent for Triple S Sheet Metal Company working on large HVAC projects in New York City. In retirement, he worked for North Babylon School District driving school buses. Dedicated to his family, Tony’s responsibility, generosity and enthusiasm anchored everyone. For all, he had a heart of gold.
Surviving Tony are his wife, Rosemary; daughters, Rachel (Giovanni) Castaldo and Kim (Salvatore) Birardi; four grandchildren; seven siblings, Michael Jr. (Angela), Barbara Papenhausen, Maryann (Ron) Seibel, Billy (Maryann), Harriet (Tim) Dwyer, Nick (Ann), Joey (Cheryl); sister-in-law, Theresa; and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his brother, James.
Memorial service is scheduled for Sunday, April 29th from 2-6:30 pm at the Claude R. Boyd–Spencer Funeral Home, Babylon, New York.
