Bruce Gregory Kern, 74, of Blue Point, entered into Eternal Life on Wednesday, September 3, 2025. Proud United States Army Veteran of the Vietnam War. Devoted father of Daniel Kern and his wife, Casey. Also survived by his cherished dog, Shadow. Predeceased by his beloved parents, William and Gertrude (Nolan) Kern, and his siblings, William, Rosemary, Debbie, and Gregory. Bruce was a Detective for the NYPD in Canarsie, New York before his retirement. He was also also a nursing assistant for the VA. He will be forever loved and deeply missed by his son, grandchildren, and all of the lives that he touched. Family will receive friends at Claude R. Boyd-Spencer Funeral Home, 448 W. Main Street, Babylon, Tuesday, September 9, 2025, 4:00 PM-8:30 PM.
