Carmella Mingione

Carmella Mingione, 89, of West Babylon, entered into Eternal Life on Tuesday, March 7, 2023. Predeceased by her beloved husband, Rocco, in 2010. Devoted mother of Peter A. and Maria Prendergast. Loving mother-in-law of Kevin J. Prendergast. Adored grandmother of Peter, Alyssa Prendergast, Jonathan, and Rachel Prendergast. Cherished sister of Rosetta, Lucille, Nicholas, Helen, Theresa, and the late Josephine. Carmella kept a loving home where her cooking and baking will forever evoke cherished memories for her family. Her favorite pastimes were reading novels and shopping on QVC. Always generous with her time, Carmella was a beloved volunteer at Our Lady of Grace Parish in West Babylon. She will be forever loved and deeply missed by each life that she touched. Family will receive friends at Claude R. Boyd-Spencer Funeral Home, 448 W. Main Street, Babylon, Sunday, March 12, 2023, 7 pm-9:30 pm and Monday, March 13, 2023, 2 pm-4:30 pm & 7 pm-9:30 pm. Funeral mass 11:00 am Tuesday, March 14, 2023, Our Lady of Grace RC Church, West Babylon. Interment to follow at Saint Charles Cemetery.
