Carolyn Albanese

Carolyn Albanese, 80, of West Islip, entered into Eternal Life on Friday, December 26, 2025. Beloved life-partner of Frank Mihm. Devoted mother of Tammy Phelan and Greg Albanese. Loving mother-in-law of Brian Phelan and Cindy Albanese. Cherished grandmother, lovingly known as "Mingy," of Taylor, Stephen, Rachel, Lindsay, and Kevin. Dear sister of Charlie Albanese and his wife, Melody, and Joe Albanese and his wife, Roseann. Before her retirement, Carolyn was the principal's secretary at West Islip High School in West Islip for 25 years. She always said that her children were her greatest accomplishment and her grandchildren her absolute joy. Her beloved Frank was the love she always longed for and stood by her throughout her good times and difficult times. Carolyn will be forever loved and deeply missed by each life that she touched.
