Casey Kennedy

Casey Kennedy, 35, of Dix Hills, entered into Eternal Life on January 1, 2022. Beloved brother of Erin Bloodnick and brother-in-law of Marty Bloodnick. Adored uncle of McKayla and Marty Bloodnick. Dear Cousin of Christin Younger. Casey was a larger than life presence with an infectious laugh and intoxicating sense of humor which brought a smile to the face of every person that he met. His approach to all things was always with a flair for the big and bold, whether it was in his talent for cooking, as he was an executive chef along the east coast, from Fire Island to Palm Beach, his writing, his promotion as a brand ambassador for Happy Chef Uniforms, or simply in the tremendous amount of love that he shared so generously with anyone who was lucky enough to know him. Casey lived out the passions of his life to the fullest by working his way up the culinary ladder, beginning as a line cook, and achieving his goal as an executive chef, for which he received many accolades in the press. In addition to his sister and her family, Casey leaves behind a host of family members and friends who will love and miss him forever and cherish the far-reaching impact that his inspiring life had on each of them. The void which his loss leaves behind is as bold and profound as the larger-than-life character that he was in life.
