My Mom was the glue that helped her family come together through faith, love, kindness, and respect. I will miss her always. Always love Robert & Alma.

My Mom, my best friend, that is who Catherine A. Donnelly was to me.  She was the most important woman in my life.  We did so much together and she was there for every big moment.  She was helpful, kind and giving in every way.  She loved her family deeply with all her heart.  I cannot put into words how much she will be missed.

I love you Mom
My mother was a lovely, caring, sentimental warm compassionate woman. She took care of all of us, she was the foundation and the rock of our family.  She was a hard worker and she was strong in her faith. She instilled that work ethic in me and planted the seeds of what is my strength in Jesus Christ today. She was always smiling, she always was a good listener and she never judged you. She just tried to make you feel better, and she like to hug you a lot too. I remember her always comforting me growing up, whether it with school with break ups, helping me with my homework, driving me to sports, and cooking our favorite meals. She was always there doing the right thing and say the right things to make you feel good. She would always be there as I became an adult and started my own family. If I called her she’d pick up in less than one ring, “what’s wrong is everything ok”, or, “oh you remembered us I thought you forgot about us” laughing jokingly. She was a lovely grandmother, Aunt and Grandaunt as well, she loved her Nicky, her Michael, always taking them out for a day of hanging out with her and my dad giving them lots of love, buying them whatever they wanted of course. She loved all her nieces and nephews and there lovely children. She was a loving mother in law, she loved my wife Rossella and my brother in-law Billy and my sister in-law Alma. My mother and her sisters Mary, Regina and Jeanne were very close, and together they planned wonderful gatherings for my cousins and I, that will forever be great memories of my life with my family. She made that possible.  She devoted her time to Our Lady of Grace church as a Eucharistic minister and to Christa house helping Aids patience to not die alone in pain. This was the kind of person my mother was, always putting others before herself. That was her joy. What wonderful blessed way to be remembered.

We cherish the memory of Cathy and Bob. What a wonderful coupled. Nancy and I enjoyed many happy and fun times with them at Wakonda.  We're grateful that Cathy reached out to us so many years ago to renew our cousinship - and of course we can never forget Bob's sense of humor - his telling of his jokes. Cathy was a wonderful part of the Keilbach family.

I am Cathy's cousin Carol Miller from Troy, NY.  Cathy and Bob would  visit us during many a summer.  We loved their company and so miss seeing them.  David and I attended your wedding, Laurie, and still remember it as a gala event.  My love is sent to all of you.
