Catherine Cecilia Ramirez (nee Rosengart), 82, of Coram, entered into Eternal Life on Sunday, May 24, 2026. Beloved mother of Doreen Lobasso, Diane Kito, Catherine Sanabria, and the late Lawrence Ramirez. Loving mother-in-law of Frank Lobasso, and Mark Kito. Adored Nana of Megan, Brianna, P.J., Derek, Samantha, Jared, and Maria. Also cherished by her great-grandchildren, Keira, Maggie, Natalie, Liam, Damien, Tallulah, and Emory. Dear sister of James Rosengart, Lawrence Rosengart, and the late William Rosengart, Marion Genereux, Joseph Rosengart, and Anna Rosengart. Also survived by her loving cat, Smokey. Predeceased by her parents, William Joseph Rosengart and Catherine Cecilia (Ferry) Rosengart, and her dearest dog, Alex. Before her retirement, Catherine was an administrator for the Friendship Public Library. In her retirement years, Catherine loved watching movies, playing her card games Uno and Solitaire, Yatzee, listening to music, dancing, relaxing while sipping a Pina Colada, or taking long drives. Catherine's children and her pets were most cherished possessions, her grandchildren were her pride, and her siblings her joy. She will be forever loved and deeply missed by each life that she touched. Family will receive friends at Claude R. Boyd-Spencer Funeral Home, 448 W. Main Street, Babylon, Friday May 29, 2026, from 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm, and again on May 29, 2026, from 7:00 pm to 9:00 pm.
