Catherine Vitiello (nee Buonocore), 76, of West Babylon, formerly of Red Hook, Brooklyn, on August 11, 2019. Beloved wife of Neil Vitiello. Devoted mother of Marie Seaquist (Timothy), Ralph Vitiello (Denise), and Salvatore Vitiello. Cherished grandmother of Alyssa, Sara, Michael, Victoria, Nicholas, Kendall, and Jake. Loving sister of John, Anna, and Joseph Buonocore. Catherine was a medical administrator at Broadway Medical in Massapequa for over 25 years. She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother. Born to the late Ralph Buonocore and Julia Marzo Buonocore in Red Hook, Brooklyn, New York, Catherine married Aniello "Neil" Vitiello 55 years ago and raised her family in West Babylon. Catherine loved to cook and spend time with her grandchildren. She is known and will be missed for her loving kisses that could light up a room. Family will receive friends at Claude R. Boyd-Spencer Funeral Home, 448 W. Main St., Babylon, Tuesday, August 13, 2019 2-4:30pm & 7-9:30pm. Funeral mass Wednesday, August 14, 2019, Our Lady of Grace RC Church, West Babylon. Interment to follow at St. Charles Cemetery, Farmingdale, NY.

I’m so sorry to hear of Cathy’s passing. I worked for her from 2011- 2013 and loved every minute of it. She always greeted me a with a warm smile and a big “Hello Dolly-pants “!!
She was one of the funniest women I’ve ever met. She was also one of the most compassionate.
R.I.P. Cathy, suffer no more.
