Charles Wesley Thompson

THOMPSON – Eiko Suzaki (February 16, 2015, age 87) and Charles Wesley (March 1, 2015, age 84) of West Babylon, Long Island, NY. Charles was a Korean War veteran and served with the Air Force in Tokyo where he met Eiko. They were married for more than 61 years. Charles retired after 48 years at TWA and both were active in environmental and civic causes in the Town of Babylon, NY. Beloved parents of Charles Jr., Mozelle, Berdette, Mark; Grandparents of Danielle, Lara, Charles III; Great-grandparents of Avery. Eiko is survived by her sister, Nobuko Takahasi of Tokyo, Japan. Charles is survived by siblings Greta Griffin of Pittsburgh, PA and Richard of San Bernardino, CA. Visitation at Claude R. Boyd-Spencer Funeral Homes, 448 West Main Street, Babylon Village, NY on Thursday, March 12, 2015, 2-4 and 7-9pm. Friends may gather Saturday, March 14, 2015, 9:00am, at the funeral home. Internment following with celebrant service, 10:00am, at Pinelawn Memorial Park, Farmingdale, NY.
