

Connie Ciccone, a beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, and friend, passed away on July 30, 2026, at the remarkable age of 102. Born on March 31, 1924, in Brooklyn, New York, Connie lived a long and meaningful life filled with love, faith, hard work, and devotion to her family.
Connie moved to West Babylon, New York, where she shared 28 wonderful years of marriage with her beloved husband Eugene, together raising their family with strong family values rooted in love, kindness and faith.
Connie was a hard worker; she started working as a sewing machine operator as a young girl and later on in life became a mailroom supervisor. Connie was always willing to lend a helping hand and brighten someone's day with her gentle spirit and generous heart.
Connie found her greatest joy in spending time with her family. She loved preparing home-cooked meals for family gatherings and holidays where everyone felt welcomed by her warmth and hospitality. She also found happiness in music and singing with her family..Connie shared a special bond with the family's beloved dog, Belle, whose faithful companionship brought her comfort and joy.
Connie leaves behind a family who will forever treasure her love and the many memories they shared together. She is lovingly survived by her daughters, Joanne (Jim) Smyth and Carol (Ralph) Posimato; her cherished grandchildren, Daniel (Christina), Ashley, (Sean) James,( Sabrina) and Christa; her beloved great-grandchildren, Nico, Noah, Finn, and Jack; and her dear sister, Celia.
She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Eugene Ciccone, and her siblings, Laura, Frank, Anthony, and Louise.
Connie's kindness, strength, resilience, and unwavering love for her family touched countless lives. She leaves behind a legacy of compassion, faith, perseverance, and unconditional love that will continue to live on through the generations she inspired. Though she will be deeply missed, her family takes comfort in knowing that her love and spirit will remain with them always.
Family and friends are invited to pay their respects during visitation at Claude R. Boyd/Spencer Funeral Homes, 448 West Main Street, Babylon, New York, on Sunday, August 2, 2026, from 2:00 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. and again from 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.
A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church, 455 Hunter Avenue, West Islip, New York, on Monday, August 3, 2026, at 10:30 a.m. Interment will immediately follow at St. Charles/Resurrection Cemeteries, 2015 Wellwood Avenue, Farmingdale, New York, with a committal service beginning at 12:30 p.m.
Connie's family extends their heartfelt gratitude to all those who have offered their love, prayers, and support during this difficult time. May she rest in eternal peace, reunited with those who went before her, and may her memory forever be a blessing to all who knew and loved her.
