Hey man! I’m about to set sail on the greatest gift God has given us. It’s the first time in two years it’s just Alison and I with your grand babies. Everyone is doing well and the kids are making us so proud. Kaitlyn is amazing and Dylan is your spitting image. Fair winds and following seas old man. I love you

We were signed up as Committee Boat for a SYC regatta some years ago. No one else happened to sign up so Mike and I motored over in a drizzle, dropped the hook and had a grand time. The big old Danforth was wedged in good by the end of the day so Mike helped me yank it free. As I always said to him after a sail, no matter the weather, another great day on the Great South Bay. Captain Mike, you’ll be sorely missed. Fair winds and following seas.

Thank you Mike for all the years coaching my sons in Copiague soccer. Have many fond memories.You made such a positive impact on their lives to this day.Will always remember your great smile.Go Cobras!

After the final 2018  sail of Priscilla, the crew fondly remembered Captain Mike with a loving toast  of Jameson's.  Captain Mike was the heart and soul of Priscilla which is proudly at dock in the background.  Fair winds and calm seas always.

Our deepest sympathies go out to Mike's Family.
Barbara and I both loved Mike very much and would
rush over to speak to him wherever and whenever we
saw him. He will be missed big time by all his friends in 
Copiague, in the Kiwanis, in the boating community and
elsewhere. Mike was elegant, funny, smart and a great
guy to speak with.

Dear Mike, Thank you for all the years we coached together and sometimes against each other in the soccer leagues of Copiague. That is where we met and became family. We, The Hodgkiss Family, remember the time we Hodgkiss/Caldwell's travel by LIRR and bus to NYC to see Blue Man Group. What a blast. Your smile was contagious.Your enthusiasm amazing. Rest In Peace, my friend.

Mike was a great guy ,  I first took a trip on the Priscilla in his first year and thought..what a personable guy to run this operation.  We talked about our Bay Shore historical society getting involved in historic trips for the members and guests.  I told him of my history with the Hard family and my time with their Yacht " Little Stranger ".   Over the years, we would take a yearly cruise and have dinner at the Snapper ".  We're in Florida for good now that we have sold the Islip home, so this year , no trip.  We though a lot of him and wish the family comfort in knowing what we felt too.         Jack

A brother who was always there for me, whatever my need,  whether that need was for a joke or tending to me in illness. Red skies at night,  Captain.

My dear cousin . We grew up together. Shared all the holidays, and summer trips to Jones Beach.  His happy place was on the water , in a boat. Even though we lived far apart, we always stayed in touch. We shared wicked senses of humor and both loved cats. There’s a hole in my heart. I will miss him a lot.
