Edward Hughes, 92, of North Babylon, entered into Eternal Life on Tuesday, August 11, 2026. Predeceased by his beloved wife of 65 years, Paula (nee Ward), in 2024. Devoted father of Edward (Marietta), Donald, Cheryl, Jeffrey, and James. Adored grandfather of 6 and great-grandfather of 3. Predeceased by his parents, Edward F. and Ethel (Reader), as well as his brother, John. Before his retirement, Edward was a floor installer. He was a car enthusiast and proud member of the Long Island Street Rod Association. In addition to this, He was also a member of the Senior League Babylon Bowl.
