

Born in Manhattan and raised in Astoria, Queens, Frances was the beloved daughter of Carmine "Cakey" and Madeline. She carried with her throughout life the values of love, faith, kindness, and dedication.
Frances met the love of her life, Terence, through an acquaintance. From the moment they met, they built a beautiful life together centered on love, family, and faith. Their marriage was blessed with four children, and Frances cherished every moment spent raising and caring for her family.
Frances was known for her selfless spirit, kind heart, and vibrant personality. She had a remarkable ability to light up any room she entered and was loved for her sense of humor, warmth, and genuine compassion for others. Her presence brought comfort and joy to family, friends, and all who had the privilege of knowing her.
Professionally, Frances worked as an insurance agent with Ruchman Associates Inc., where she earned the respect of colleagues and clients alike through her hard work, dedication, and commitment to helping others. Outside of work, Frances found great happiness in gardening and took pride in nurturing beautiful flowers. She loved cooking for family and friends, pouring love into every meal she prepared and shared. Shopping was another favorite pastime, whether searching for the perfect outfit or finding a thoughtful gift for someone she loved.
Above all else, Frances was a devoted caretaker to her mother, children, grandchildren, and her nieces and nephews and her greatest joy came from her family. She took immense pride in her children and grandchildren and treasured watching them grow into wonderful individuals. Her free spirit, loving nature, and unwavering devotion to those she loved will forever remain in the hearts of all who knew her.
Frances is survived by her children, Julianne Foreman (Mario Cinquemani), Lisa Griffith (Matthew Griffith), and Ryan McGowan (Claudia Lopez); her cherished grandchildren, Madeline, Abigail, Riley, Gracie, and Jordan; and her beloved dog, Molly.
She was predeceased by her loving husband, Terry; her son, Little Terry; her sister, Roberta, and her parents, Cakey and Madeline.
Family and friends are invited to pay their respects during visitation on Monday, June 15, 2026, from 2:00 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. and again from 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. at Claude R. Boyd/Spencer Funeral Homes, 448 West Main Street, Babylon, New York.
A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Tuesday, June 16, 2026, at 10:00 a.m. at Our Lady of Grace Roman Catholic Church, 666 Albin Avenue, West Babylon, New York.
A Committal Service will follow at 11:30 a.m. at St. Charles / Resurrection Cemeteries, 2015 Wellwood Avenue, Farmingdale, New York.
Frances's legacy of love, generosity, faith, and devotion to family will continue to inspire all who knew her. She will be deeply missed and forever remembered.
