I was heartbroken to learn of Fred's passing today. He was truly one of a kind—funny, warm, full of life, and never shy about making others feel welcome. I met Fred in 1993 when I had started working at Citicorp and I’ll always remember the one thing that still sticks in my mind to this day was during our producer trip to St. Thomas, how he had a way of breaking the ice and making me (and everyone else) feel welcomed and part of the group. I really didn't know to many people at the time and he made me so comfortable and at ease, like i belonged. Those moments, and the kindness he showed me, will stay with me forever. My deepest condolences to his family and all who loved him. I will miss him greatly.

I just heard the news about Fred, and I am deeply saddened.  My deepest sympathy to Patty and Kate and Mary. We lost touch over the years to my great dismay. Fred and Patty always were like a second family to me, and I spent a great deal of time with them and the girls in their younger years. From going on the boat to day trips to some town I forget the name of, where we ate and walked around a lot. 
Fred was the best and always made me laugh. I have missed him all these years, and now to learn this news today is devasting.

To Fred’s family,
I was a client of Fred’s at Chase for  20 years and I am so saddened to hear of his passing. We would meet at his office in Wantagh for checkins on my accounts and to just see how we’re doing. He always talked about his daughters and how he cared for his Mom until she passed.
Fred was a beautiful person, he made a difference and I will miss him.

Fred was the sweetest person , my deepest condolences to the family.  He spoke highly of his daughters that were his life.  Fred was a very special person he went above and beyond to help anyone.

Fred was not only my wife's and I Financial Advisor at Chase, but a long time Dear Friend.  Always found time to call us or I called him and took time out of his busy schedule to discuss money matters. 

   It didnt take long to clear up questions I had before we started discussing boats, or sports of the season. We went to Jet games together when he had the time to share on Sundays. We found laughter in many subjects and my wife enjoyed stopping into Chase just to spend 10 minutes with him help her understand what happens if something happens to me. He always assured her that things will be alright, Fred will take of it. We are heartbroken like so many others to hear this news. There was hope of Fred joining us in Florida when or if he retired. We Miss Our Friend.

To my Dearest Brother Frederick,
Not only were you my big brother, but you were also my best friend. Your kids would call us penguins, wherever you went I would follow. We shared fun Christmas Eves together, weekend adventures at open houses that always ended at Dairy Queen and nights watching Hallmark movies wearing our matching Star robes. You were a great Dad and an even better Brother. I’ll look after your girls always. The past few weeks caring for you was a great honor. You will be forever missed my penguin. We met Fred 25 years ago when we moved to Long Island and moved our accounts to Chase in Wantagh. We met every year to go over our investments and his financial advice was always on the mark.  Fred called every year with birthday wishes. I’m going to miss those calls. He was such a thoughtful man. He always spoke about his daughters with pride and love. Our prayers and condolences to his family and friends during this difficult time. May his memory be a blessing to everyone who knew him.

I met Fred almost 20 years ago at the Chase branch.  My dad had just passed away and we didn’t know how to handle the finances. Fred was kind and understanding while also funny and made us feel at ease.  He always did right by us. My mom trusted no one with her finances but Fred.  Not even me!   When my mom passed away, once again I turned to Fred for help and as always he went above and beyond.    He really became my friend .  It’s not going to be the same when I go in that branch without him.  Thanks Fred, for everything.

Our sincere condolences to Fred’s family. Fred and I met in little league when we were just 8 or 9 years old. Our Dads were our coaches. We reconnected in Jr High school and High School where we were once again team mates, Fred was a great basketball player. 
Always joking around and full of laughs. Fred was a dear friend regardless of how often we saw him. 

May he rest in eternal peace.

My wife and I have known Fred for 25 years. He was not only our financial adviser, he was also a friend.  At times when we would visit the branch we would stop by his office and he would always greet us with a warm smile. No matter what he was doing, Fred would always take time to talk to us. We shall miss him greatly.  May he rest in peace.

Fred was a bright light that shined wherever he was. He was kind, caring and one of the funniest guys in the world. 
Fred and I became best friends after starting at Citicorp together in 1991 and shared  many great memories together.
Fred hated flying but did attend 1 Top Producer trip to St. Thomas but had to sit next to me instead of his wife Patti.
So many great memories especially when instead of going half on a house in Fire Island we opted to buy Large Boats together and spend our summers on them at Fire Island with our families which there are so many comedy stories from that alone.
We and I had over 300 business dinners together where Fred would entertain the table.
Fred and I shared a love for cars and he would change them at a minimum annually usually ones he didn't fit in being so tall.
We were kind of like the 3 stooges and Fred and I would love making fun of Steve stooge #3 just because.
Even after moving to Florida we always kept in touch and it was like no time passed.  We would always get together when I visited NY. 
Fred was more like a brother than a friend and my heart is broken  with his loss.
God always takes the Best of us first but I know in my heart we will be together in the end, breaking bread and laughing over a good meal.
I was lucky enough to visit with him a few weeks ago before he passed.
Rest in peace my brother you are missed.

Fred was a great colleague, friend , Associate and
Business partner. It is with great fondness that I will
remember our times sharing wings at Boss Crokers
and having laughs during lunch in the basement of
our Branch.  Always a joke, a laugh, a wry smile and
a swift shot of his acerbic wit will be ingrained in 
my memory forever.
I miss you now and will forever, RIP Dear Fred.
