

Genevieve Ann DiPalma, 83, of Babylon, New York, passed away peacefully on May 3, 2026. She was the beloved wife of the late Joseph DiPalma, with whom she shared a lifetime of love and devotion. Genevieve was a cherished mother to John (Regina), Colleen Doukas (Donald), and Sandra Layton (Douglas). She was a proud and loving grandmother to Donald (Hannah), Matthew (Alexa), Jo (Annie), Nicholas (Faith), Samantha, Jack, and Kristine, and a deeply devoted great-grandmother to Mia, Jaxson, Grayson, Layla, and Scarlett. Genevieve was also a devoted sister to Patricia Seltman, John McCormack (Annette), Andrew Kramer (Linda), and Kenneth Kramer. She treasured her family above all else, and her love for them was evident in everything she did.
She found great joy in life’s simple pleasures. Genevieve loved gardening, baking Christmas cookies—always filling countless tins to share—spending time at the beach, and handcrafting thoughtful gifts. She was especially known for sewing beautiful and intricate creations such as umbrellas and bassinets for family and loved ones. Her warmth, creativity, and generosity will be remembered by all who knew her.
Family and friends are invited to attend a Memorial Visitation on Thursday, May 14, 2026, from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. at Claude R. Boyd-Spencer Funeral Homes, 448 West Main Street, Babylon, NY 11702. A Religious Service will be held at 12:00 p.m. Interment of ashes will take place afterward at Calverton National Cemetery, 210 Princeton Blvd, Calverton, NY 11933.
Genevieve’s legacy of love, kindness, and dedication to her family will live on in the hearts of all who were blessed to know her.
