George Henry Kotz, 94, (Ret. FDNY) passed on July 24, 2026, having been born on August 29, 1931, and residing in West Islip, New York. Beloved husband of the late Ann. Devoted father of Theresa and Tammy Ann. Cherished grandfather of Daniel. Dear brother of Ann, Barbara, Mary, Rita, Jeanette, Joseph, David and James. Visitation will be held at Claude R. Boyd/Spencer Funeral Homes, 448 West Main Street, Babylon, NY 11702, US, on Wednesday July 29, 2026, from 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm. and 7:00 pm to 9:00 pm. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Thursday 10:30 am at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic, 445 Hunter Ave., West Islip, NY. Interment with Military Honors will take place at North Babylon Cemetery, Livingston Ave, Babylon, NY 11702, US, on July 30, 2026, from 11:45 am to 12:15 pm.There will be a luncheon in his honor at the American Legion Hall, 22 Grove Place, Babylon, NY.
