Giuseppe Tarantino

Born in Italy, Giuseppe was a devoted husband to the late Gina Tarantino, with whom he shared a beautiful life full of love, laughter, and adventure. Together, they raised three devoted children: Giovanni Tarantino and his wife Marianne, Marianna Cossentino and her husband Frank, and Calogero Tarantino and his wife Kimberly.

He was the proud and cherished Nonno to Lilybeth, Gianna, Frankie, Alessio, Giuliana, and Matteo, who brought him endless joy and pride. Giuseppe was also a beloved brother to his last surviving siblings Gina Tarantino and Michele Tarantino.

A skilled craftsman with a strong work ethic, Giuseppe began his career in Italy, founding G.T. Marble. After immigrating to the United States, he carried that dream forward and established G.T. Marble, Inc., where his dedication to his craft left a lasting mark in the community.

Giuseppe had a deep love for the ocean and found peace being near the water. Whether it was relaxing at the beach or enjoying the rhythm of the waves, the sea was his sanctuary. He and his wife Gina shared a passion for travel, often journeying to Italy and Florida, making memories they treasured.

Known for his generous spirit and willingness to help anyone in need, Giuseppe was the kind of man who would give you the shirt off his back. His warmth, strength, and compassion will be remembered by all who knew him.

Visitation will be held at Claude R. Boyd/Spencer Funeral Homes, located at 448 West Main Street, Babylon, NY 11702, on Tuesday, September 23, 2025, from 2:00 pm to 4:30 pm and 7:00 pm to 9:30 pm and on Wednesday, September 24, 2025, from 2:00 pm to 4:30 pm and 7:00 pm to 9:30 pm A religious service will be held at the same location on Wednesday, September 24, 2025, from 8:00 pm to 8:30 pm.

Giuseppe will be deeply missed but forever remembered for the love he gave, the legacy he built, and the kindness he shared.
