Helen was born on February 2nd, 1943 in Jamaica, Queens. Married Frederick Hattermann on July 18th, 1964, and were happily married for 59 years. She worked as a legal secretary for Mr. Candi for 15 years followed by another 10 years working for Wortman-Fumuso-Kelly Deverna&Snyder. She loved volunteering at St. Joseph’s Thrift Shop, traveling to Florida, keen interest in animals especially dogs, and was always known for looking for a great bargain. She was the most selfless person in the world especially when it came to family and friend's happiness. She was the world's greatest Mom & Grandma. She is survived by her husband, Frederick: daughter Dana as well her son-in-law Johnny and stepdaughter Julia: son Brian as well as her daughter-in-law Gia and grandchildren Liam & Valentina. She is also survived by her sisters Kathleen and Lynn. Along with her brothers Robert and Bruce. A service will be held on Tuesday, June 27th from 2 pm to 6 pm at Claude R. Boyd-Spencer Funeral Home.
